We have two rooms for hire at the Museum of Chelmsford, providing a flexible and affordable range of layout options.

By booking a room at the Museum of Chelmsford, you can also enjoy the beautiful grounds of Oaklands Park, explore our galleries and exhibitions on your breaks, and visit the popular Hive café for any extra treats.

Wells suite

• 9am to 4pm: £207 +VAT

• 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm: £111 +VAT

• 7am to 9am out of hours early access for set up: £40 per hour (minimum booking two hours)

The Bothy

• 9am to 4pm: £111 +VAT

• 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm: £73 +VAT

• 7am to 9am out of hours early access for set up: £40 per hour (minimum booking two hours)

Equipment

All room hires include:

• Technical equipment: a screen, projector, computer, HDMI connector, VGA connector (Wells Suite only), and free Wi-Fi

• Room furniture: tables, chairs and tablecloths

Catering

Our in-house café, The Hive, has a range of delicious menus available featuring both hot and cold refreshments. Once your room booking is confirmed, speak to our team about our corporate food rates based on the menus below.
